Inside the Atelier
Quill Signatures operates from a converted printworks on Rue de l'Encre, where daylight filters through walls of oak and aged paper. We craft personalised writing instruments, custom ink blends, and engraved accessories for collectors across thirty-four countries. Visitors are greeted by the scent of cedar, varnish, and slow-brewed coffee — a deliberate counterpoint to the digital age our work resists.
Our atelier is open by appointment only, located in the Marais district, with a second studio in Kyoto for East Asian commissions.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does a bespoke commission take?
Most personalised pens and ink blends require four to six weeks, depending on material sourcing. Engraved heirloom pieces may extend to twelve weeks. Rush orders are reviewed case by case.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes — we dispatch insured parcels to thirty-four countries via dedicated courier. Duties, customs documentation, and carbon-offset logistics are handled entirely by our fulfilment team.
Can I visit without an appointment?
The atelier receives visitors by appointment only, Wednesday through Saturday. This preserves the contemplative environment our craft demands. Consultations are complimentary.
What is your repair and restoration policy?
Every Quill Signatures instrument carries a lifetime service guarantee. We restore nibs, re-lacquer barrels, and replace worn fittings in our original workshop at fair atelier pricing.
